This is a high temperature Proximity Switch has a 316L Stainless Steel Cylindrical housing with SPCO / SPDT (Form C) , volt free Palladium-Silver contacts. It has a maximum switching current of 4A and can be used for switching multiple voltages in AC or DC. These switches are able to sense ferrous material, such as carbon steel or stainless steel (17/4 or 400 series), through the end face at up to 1.0mm|0.04" and are reliable through millions of operations. Optional magnetic targets can be used to further increase sensing range. This is a high temperature Proximity Switch specifically designed for use in applications with elevated temperatures up to 204°C (400°F)*, this switch is proven to withstand it all. Suitable for use in the design of safety functions up to SIL2 or SIL3.
