FS-A-Serie Übersicht
FS-A Series Proximity Switches (M18 Thread) are intrinsically safe, highly versatile solutions for hazardous environments and IECEx/ATEX/UKEx Exia. They support Gas/Dust Groups IIC and IIIC, and T4/T6 Ratings.
Designed with proven magnetic technology, these switches can detect ferrous materials up to 2.5mm (0.1") away, including carbon steel and stainless steel (17/4 or 400 series). The SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts are volt-free as standard. The outputs come in 2,3, 4-wire, NAMUR, and AS-Interface versions.
FS-A Series is certified for hazardous areas as follows.

The FS-A series meets the requirements of IEC 61508:2010, Routes 1H and 1S, and has Systematic Capability (SC3). As a result, these proximity switches can be used in safety-related systems that perform safety functions up to and including SIL 2 (HFT=0, 1oo1) and SIL 3 (HFT=1, 1oo2), ensuring safe operation in hazardous and explosive environments.
