FS-P Series overview
FS-P Series Proximity Switch (3/8" UNF Thread) has a wide range of applications where reliable signals are required.
The switch uses proven magnetic technology, which enables it to sense ferrous material at a distance of up to 1.0mm (0.039). It utilises volt free SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts as standard.
When packaging space is limited, the FS-P series is available with side-exiting leads that reduce the overall switch length.

With Systematic Capability (SC3), the FS-P proximity switches meet the requirements of IEC 61508:2010 Route 1H & 1S as an element/subsystem, and are suitable for use in safety related systems up to and including SIL 2 with HFT=0 (1oo1) and SIL 3 with HFT =1 (1oo2).
