FS-K Series overview
The FS-K Series Proximity Switch (M18 Thread) is designed to function in extreme conditions, with temperatures up to +400°F / 204°C, and compliant with stringent UL and CSA dust group classifications. Leveraging advanced magnetic sensing technology, these switches reliably detect ferrous materials such as carbon steel or stainless steel (17/4 or 400 series) at distances of up to 2.5mm (0.1"). Their volt-free SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts ensure reliable and versatile signal switching.
With an optional side-exiting lead configuration, the FS-K series provides optimised installation in space-constrained environments.

The FS-K series is designed for safety-critical operations in accordance with the IEC 61508:2010 Routes 1H and 1S with Systematic Capability (SC3). These switches are ideal for integration into safety-related systems, performing safety functions up to SIL 2 (HFT=0, 1oo1 architecture) and SIL 3 (HFT=1, 1oo2 architecture). They are a dependable choice for challenging industrial applications involving high temperatures and hazardous dust group conditions.
