FS-CYL-B Series overview
This highly versatile FS-CYL-B Series (1/2"” NPT Conduit Entry) proximity switch is suitable for a wide variety of applications requiring a reliable signal.
By utilising proven magnetic technology, they can detect ferrous materials, such as carbon steel or stainless steel (17/4 or 400 series) at up to 2.3mm (0.09""). They come with volt-free SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts as standard.
In both hardwired and wireable models, the 2-bolt flange allows direct mounting to hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders.

With Systematic Capability (SC3) as an element/subsystem, the FS-CYL-B series proximity switches meet the requirements of IEC 61508:2010 Routes 1H & 1S. In addition, they are suitable for safety-related systems ranging from SIL 2 with HFT=0 (1oo1) to SIL 3 with HFT =1 (1oo2).
