FS-H Series overview
The FS-H Series Proximity Switch (5/8" UNF Thread) is available with a hermetic glass seal that is suitable for Zone 1/21 or Zone 2/22 Ex d applications where a reliable signal is required.
Using proven magnetic technology, they can detect ferrous material, such as carbon steel or stainless steel (17/4 or 400 series), at up to 2.5mm (0.10"). They are available with volt-free SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts or hermetically sealed options.
FS-H Series is certified in hazardous areas according to the following standards.

The FS-H series proximity switches meet the requirements of IEC 61508:2010 Routes 1H & 1S with Systematic Capability (SC3) as an element/subsystem, and can be used in safety related systems to perform safety functions up to and including SIL 2 with HFT=0 (1oo1) and SIL 3 with HFT =1 (1oo2).
