UL & CSA Class I, DIV 2 Proximity Switch - LED Indicators - FS-GM Series

This FS-GM Series Proximity Switch (M18 UNF Thread) is the ideal solution for UL & CSA Class I II III Div 2, Zone 2 applications requiring precise LED indications and reliable signal output. By using advanced magnetic sensing technology, these switches have the capability of detecting ferrous materials such as carbon steel or stainless steel (17/4 or 400 series) at distances of up to 2.5mm (0.1"). Featuring bright Red and Green LEDs, the system is able to provide clear visual feedback, enhancing operational monitoring and system reliability.

The switches feature volt-free SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts and can be configured as Normally Open or Normally Closed.

For maximum brightness, the integrated LEDs require a 50mA supply current, but they can still function at lower currents. These indicators are compatible with a wide range of voltages, from 24VDC to 120VAC, and can handle currents up to 250mA.

For flexibility in installation, the FS-GM Series is available in hardwired configurations or with V2 or V3 Mini-Change Quick Disconnect connectors. Designed to comply with IEC 61508:2010 standards, these switches achieve Systematic Capability (SC3) and can be used in safety-related systems up to SIL 2 (HFT=0, 1oo1) and SIL 3 (HFT=1, 1oo2). For safety-critical applications, the LED indication ensures that the proximity switch's status is always clearly visible.
