FS-E Series overview
This FS-E Series Proximity Switch (M18 Thread) provides a reliable, flexible solution for CI I, Div 1, Grps A-D & CI II, Div 1, Grps E-G CI,III applications requiring precision signal detection. With the help of advanced magnetic technology, these switches can detect ferrous materials, such as carbon steel or stainless steel (17/4 or 400 series), at distances up to 2.5mm (0.1"). They come equipped with volt-free SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts as standard.
In addition to the hardwired version, the FS-E Series offers three wireable options (W, WL, WLR). These wireable configurations utilise an innovative integrated junction box/connection head design that eliminates the need for additional components and allows them to be installed in compact spaces.

The FS-E Series is certified for use in safety-related systems that perform safety functions in accordance with IEC 61508:2010 Routes 1H & 1S with Systematic Capability (SC3). These switches are certified up to SIL 2 with HFT=0 (1oo1) and SIL 3 with HFT=1 (1oo2), making them a dependable choice for high-stakes environments.
