FS-K-D Series overview
The FS-K-D Series Proximity Switch (M18 Thread) meets stringent safety standards and has been IECEx-Exia certified, making it suitable for use in hazardous environments.
With detection ranges up to 2.3mm (0.09"), these switches reliably detect ferrous materials, including carbon steel and stainless steel (17/4 or 400 series). As standard, they feature volt-free DPCO/DPDT (2x Form C) contacts.
FS-K-D Series is certified for hazardous areas as listed below.

The FS-K-D Series is designed to comply with IEC 61508:2010 Routes 1H and 1S, achieving Systematic Capability (SC3) as an element/subsystem. SIL 2 with HFT=0 (1oo1) and SIL 3 with HFT=1 (1oo2) are supported by this module for integration into safety-related systems. It meets the IECEx Exia standards, making it ideal for environments requiring intrinsic safety and robust performance.
