FS-Q Series overview
FS-Q Series Proximity Switches (M12 Thread) are highly versatile and can be used in a wide range of applications.
With the help of proven magnetic technology, they are capable of sensing ferrous materials, such as steel (17/4 or 400 series) at up to 1.0mm (0.039""). Volt free SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts with ptional gold contacts as standard.
When packaging space is limited, the FS-Q series offers side exiting leads which reduce overall switch length.
The FS-Q Series has the following hazardous area certifications.

The FS-Q series proximity switches complies with the requirements of IEC 61508:2010 Route 1H & 1S with Systematic Capability (SC3) as an element/subsystem, and is suitable for use in safety systems that perform safety functions as high as SIL 2 with HFT = 0 (1oo1) and as high as SIL 3 with HFT = 1 (1oo2)
