FS-D Series overview
A robust and versatile solution, the FS-D Proximity Switch (5/8" UNF Thread) is designed for Ex db IIC T6 Gb and Ex tb IIIC T85°C Db applications requiring dependable signal detection.
Engineered with proven magnetic technology, it reliably senses ferrous materials, such as carbon steel or stainless steel (17/4 or 400 series), with a detection range of up to 2.5mm (0.1"). It is designed with volt-free SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts as standard, which makes it compatible with a wide range of applications.
Due to its compliance with IECEx and UL certifications, the FS-D Series is ideal for hazardous environments with strict safety standards. Additionally, it features a unique integrated junction box/connection head design, available in multiple wireable options (W, WL, WLR). This eliminates the need for additional components, enhancing functionality and reliability in space-constrained environments.
