Series Overview
The FS-CYL-B Series (1/2" NPT Conduit Entry) Proximity Switch is highly versatile and can be used in a multitude of applications where a reliable signal is required. Utilising proven magnetic technology enables them to sense ferrous material, such as carbon steel or stainless steel (17/4 or 400 series) at up to 2.3mm (0.09"). Volt free SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts as standard.
The range of hardwired and wireable type models are designed with a 2-bolt flange for direct mounting to hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders for performing End-of-stroke position confirmation.
The FS-CYL-B Series is covered by the following hazardous area certifications.

The FS-CYL-B series proximity switches meet the requirements of IEC 61508:2010 Routes 1H & 1S with Systematic Capability (SC3) as an element/subsystem, and are suitable for use in safety related systems performing safety functions up to and including SIL 2 with HFT=0 (1oo1) and SIL 3 with HFT =1 (1oo2).
