Mechanical Plunger Switches
The Euroswitch FS Mechanical range, leveraging our robust FerroProx technology, is engineered for extreme reliability under harsh conditions that require mechanical plunger switches.
Our high temperature mechanical limit switches are designed for explosive environments (Ex d, UL/CSA Class I Div 1) where precise, durable target detection is critical. Each switch features a mechanical plunger that magnetically activates the switch within a sealed chamber, housed in durable 316L Stainless Steel.
Designed for versatility, these switches are fully submersible and pressure-rated, making them perfect for applications like hatch door detection in amphibious vehicles, valve position sensing, ROV docking, They are available with a variety of connectors, including dry or wet mate subsea options, or with over-moulded cables for enhanced durability.
Available in either cylindrical threaded housings or rectangular housings with screw holes, they can also be terminated with various cable/lead wire types, QDC connectors (M12 micro-change, 7/8” mini-change), or with one of four wireable head options (W, WL, WLR, WLRT).
