Series Overview - 316 Stainless Steel Prox Switch with Multi Voltage Capability
The ES-10 Series Proximity Switch is highly adaptable and can be used in a multitude of applications where a reliable signal is required.
Volt free SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts as standard with the ability to use as Normally Open or Normally Closed devices. The ES-10 series offers versatility and multi-voltage flexibility by being able to switch either DC or AC at up to 240V.
The mounting thread is M18x1.0 and due to its small size allows installation where space is at a premium. It is available hardwired with a range of cable and lead types to suit the application.
The presence of an external magnetic actuator is required for operation. Designed for end sensing. Sensing ranges are dependent on the magnetic actuators used.
The ES-10 Series is covered by the following hazardous area certifications.

The ES-10 series proximity switches meet the requirements of IEC 61508:2010 Routes 1H & 1S with Systematic Capability (SC3) as an element/subsystem, and are suitable for use in safety related systems performing safety functions up to and including SIL 2 with HFT=0 (1oo1) and SIL 3 with HFT =1 (1oo2).
