Euroswitch has been designing and manufacturing instrumentation products since 1986. Nevertheless, we must consider that my father, the company founder Rod Dear, had already served 20 years in the industry providing distribution channels for some of the most globally renowned brands of hazardous area instrumentation with his company Longvale Ltd.

Due to my father’s desire to be the best and to push the boundaries, coupled with a lack of development and flexibility from his partners, the decision to design and manufacture a product range of his own was taken – and Euroswitch was born.

Today our state of the art global headquarters, just outside Burton on Trent in the UK (our fourth expansion), is a far cry from its beginnings over 30 years ago. We are never content with our achievements and are continuously investing in research and development to produce reliable and cutting edge instrumentation solutions
