UL Zone 0 Intrinsically Safe, NAMUR Proximity/Limit Switches - FS-O Series
FS-O Series overview
With its M12 thread, the FS-O Series Proximity Switch is extremely adaptable and suitable for applications requiring a reliable signal in UL and CSA Class I, II, III, Div 1, Zone 0 intrinsically safe applications.
Utilising proven magnetic technology, they can sense ferrous steel or stainless steel (17/4 or 400 series) at up to 1.0mm (0.039"). These sensors have volt-free SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts.

The FS-O series proximity switches meet the requirements of IEC 61508:2010 Routes 1H & 1S with Systematic Capability (SC3) as an element/subsystem, and are suitable for use in safety related systems performing safety functions up to and including SIL 2 with HFT=0 (1oo1) and SIL 3 with HFT =1 (1oo2).
