The FS-F Series Proximity Switch (3/4" UNF Thread) is designed for Hazardous area IECEx, UL & CSA global standards compliance and high-pressure environments, offering exceptional versatility for applications demanding reliable signal performance.

By using advanced magnetic sensing technology, it can reliably detect ferrous materials, such as carbon steel and stainless steel (17/4 or 400 series), at distances upto 2.5mm. As standard, the switches are equipped with volt-free SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts.

Built to handle demanding conditions, the FS-F Series meets the stringent requirements of IEC 61508:2010 Routes 1H & 1S, achieving Systematic Capability (SC3) as an element/subsystem. They are globally certified for use in safety-related systems performing key safety functions, with suitability up to SIL 2 with HFT=0 (1oo1) and SIL 3 with HFT=1 (1oo2), ensuring high-performing performance under pressure in high-stakes scenarios.
