FS-CYL-C switches can be used in non-hazardous environments requiring a reliable proximity sensor to detect the end of stroke piston position in pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders. At up to 2.3mm (0.09 inches), they can detect ferrous materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel (17/4, 400 series), and aluminium.
