The FS-M Series Proximity Switch (M18 Thread) is specifically designed for IECEx & ATEX Globally Certified, US, Brazil, UAE, Russia, India, China, Korea and Taiwan markets for hazardous environments where safety and accuracy are critical.

These switches utilise advanced magnetic technology to detect ferrous materials such as carbon steel or stainless steel (17/4 or 400 series) at distances up to 2.5mm (0.100″), ensuring reliable operation even in extreme conditions. The inclusion of volt-free SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts as standard enhances versatility and safety.

In hazardous environments where space is a concern, the FS-M Series offers a side-exiting lead option to minimise overall switch length, making it ideal for compact installations.
