For demanding and hazardous environments in which reliable signal detection is critical, the FS-B Series Proximity Switch (5/8″ UNF Thread) is specifically engineered with Ex d protection for for Zones 1/21 or 2/22.
With their proven magnetic sensing technology, these switches detect ferrous materials like carbon steel or stainless steel (17/4 or 400 series) at distances up to 2.5mm (0.1″), making them ideal for harsh environments.
With its volt-free SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts, the FS-B Series can be configured as normally open or normally closed, providing operational flexibility in safety-critical environments. The switches’ adaptability makes them well-suited to hazardous areas where precision and dependability are essential.
