These switches are able to sense ferrous material, such as carbon steel or stainless steel (17/4 or 400 series), through the end face at up to 2.3mm|0.09″ and are reliable through millions of operations. Optional magnetic targets can be used to further increase sensing range. It requires the use of a magnetic target to operate. This versatile switch provides highly reliable continuous monitoring across a wide operating temperature range.
